Dr. Diana Lafer, DVM, Founder
Dr. Diana Lafer founded Cats Limited in 1995. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Wesleyan University and her veterinary degree from Cornell University.
She is a member of several veterinary organizations, including the American Association of Feline Practitioners, The American Animal Hospital Association, The International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, The American Veterinary Medical Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, the Veterinary Information Network, and is a member of the Cat-Friendly Practice Advisory Council. She is a board member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Dr. Lafer has a dog (Ned) and two cats, Albert and Dallas. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters, horseback riding, skiing, hiking, scuba diving and playing bass guitar.

Dr. Carly Haining, DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Haining joined the Cats Limited team in 2020. She is a Connecticut native and completed her undergraduate studies at UConn in Storrs and her veterinary degree at The University of London, Royal Veterinary College. She worked as a general small animal veterinarian in greater London for 3 years and then in a Feline exclusive practice for 4 years prior to joining Cats Limited. She recently completed a certification in feline behavior, which is one of her passions.
She is a member of several veterinary organizations, including the American Association of Feline Practitioners, The American Animal Hospital Association, The American Veterinary Medical Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Information Network.
Dr. Haining enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 boys, and her cat, Maeve. She also enjoys reading, traveling and CrossFit.

Dr. Laurie Hester, DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Laurie Hester joined the Cats Limited team in 2005. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Southern Illinois University and her veterinary degree from University of Illinois.
She is a member of several veterinary organizations, including the American Association of Feline Practitioners, The American Animal Hospital Association, The American Veterinary Medical Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Information Network.
Dr. Hester has four cats (Louie, Oliver, Poe and Zelda) and two dogs (Hank and Charlie). She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, scuba diving and reading.

Dr. Katie McClaine, DVM
Dr. Katie McClaine joined the Cats Limited team in 2003. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from State University of New York (Buffalo) and her veterinary degree from Cornell University.
She is a member of several veterinary organizations, including the American Association of Feline Practitioners, The American Animal Hospital Association, The American Veterinary Medical Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Information Network.
Dr. McClaine has a cat (Colin) and a dog (Pippa). She enjoys playing the bassoon for the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra, exercising, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Zach Bradley, DVM

He is a member of several veterinary organizations, including the American Association of Feline Practitioners, The American Animal Hospital Association, The American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Bradley has three cats at home (Tofu, Gary, and Billy). In his free time, he enjoys writing music with his wife, eating great food, and playing games of all types!
