She has worked in the veterinary field since 1991. She attended Albertus Magnus College and received an Associate Degree in Business Management. Shannon is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager as of August 2013, and in November of 2014, Shannon was awarded “Practice Manager of the Year” by the Veterinary Management Council of Connecticut. Before starting in the veterinary field she worked in “human medicine” at a doctor’s office and in a nursing home. Although that was rewarding, her love for animals won out and she hasn’t looked back.
Shannon and her husband Michael have five children that keep them very busy. She and her family have three kitties at home (Neil, Tank, and Mr. Willis), a dog (Cornbread), and ten free-range Guinea hens. When she does find some spare time she enjoys crocheting and running.
Sam joined the Cats Limited team in 2019. Sam has degrees from CCSU (BA in Spanish/Biology), Tunxis Community College (DVM Assistant Certificate), and MCC (AS in Business Administration). In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities, running, going to the beach, going to professional sporting events and is an all-around sports fanatic!
Victoria joined the Cats Limited team in Feburary 2020. She graduated from Middlesex Community College as a certified Veterinary Assistant. Victoria has 2 beloved kitties: Stitch, who was rescued from the Connecticut Humane Society where Victoria had worked as an adoption counselor, and Toothless, who was found behind a dumpster and rescued by one of our clients. She has a love for all animals and volunteers at a local horse rescue. Victoria loves to cook, enjoys boating, spending time at the beach and being surrounded by her family.
Sable joined our team in June 2020 bringing a deep admiration for our feline companions. She joined the veterinary field as a volunteer at the age of 15. Hired at 16 she had her first veterinary assistant position. Through her continued years in the field since then, she has spent the last 10 in feline specific veterinary medicine. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Environmental Sciences and Biology. Other wonderful job experiences she has had along the way include wildlife conservation and management, environmental hazardous waste spill response, agricultural production, and dairy farm management. After all of these great adventures, she finds herself most fulfilled and dedicated to the feline veterinary community.
